Normally, Edit 515 Business Simulations run to a strict timetable. Because decisions cannot be processed until they have been submitted by all of the teams, prompt delivery is essential. This makes Time Management a critical element in the event, especially on two day, short events.
Since penalties are exacted when decisions do not arrive on time, teams realise that they must balance the time spent analysing results and discussing what to do, against that needed to come to a perfect decision. Most teams quickly set up an internal organisation to manage their time during the decision making period, and avoid penalties.
